Whether it’s riding the train from end-to-end or using the bus or train to visit one of the region’s many kid-friendly destinations, Metro is a great ride. For just $4.50 adults and children can ride throughout the entire Metro system all day long.

Want to begin your KidVenture watching airplanes take off and land at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, then have lunch at St. Louis Union Station before heading to Fairview Heights, Illinois to shop at St. Clair Square Mall? You can do all that and more on Metro.

Look for detailed information about schedules, fares and other information on the left side of this page, but here’s a quick look at the time it would take to ride MetroLink, watching the changing landscape as you travel from end to end. The trip times are approximates based on a typical Saturday schedule. You can also go to TRIPfinder to plan your fun-filled itinerary.

Approximate Saturday End-to-End Trip Times

Lambert to Shiloh-Scott = 73 minutes (without deboarding)

Lambert to Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 = 47 minutes (including wait time for a train transfer)

Shiloh-Scott to Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 = 82 minutes (including wait time for a train transfer)

Trains on the Lambert Branch travel directly between the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport Main MetroLink Station and the Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station in Illinois. Trains on the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Branch travel directly between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 MetroLink Station in Missouri and the Emerson Park MetroLink Station in Illinois.

A transfer between the Lambert Branch and the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Branch may be required, depending on your origin and destination. The Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station is designed to be a convenient transfer point.

You can transfer from one line to another anywhere between the Forest Park DeBaliviere MetroLink Station and the Emerson Park MetroLink Station. The Emerson Park MetroLink Station in East St. Louis, Illinois is the end of the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 line. All passengers must deboard at or before the Emerson Park MetroLink Station to continue east toward Shiloh-Scott.

Remember: there are no restrooms at MetroLink stations, so plan ahead!
