Other Transit Projects. Metro manages many other capital projects in addition to MetroBus Centers. The projects can include transit plazas, garages, buildings, MetroLink extensions, or any other major improvement or alteration to existing services.

The North Hanley Parking Garage opened to patrons on May 25, 2004 and is located at the eastern edge of the North Hanley MetroLink Station Park – Ride Lot, 4401 North Hanley Road at I-70. The 655-car parking garage provides additional accessible parking, improved bus shelters, a plaza area near the station platform, security cameras, and public art. The North Hanley MetroLink Station now contains nearly 1,600 parking spaces. A grant from the Federal Transit Administration and revenues from the Proposition M Sales Tax which was passed in St. Louis City and County in 1994 funded the $10-million garage project.
