The Metro System at a Glance

Metro owns and operates the St. Louis Metropolitan region’s largest public transportation system, including MetroLink light rail, MetroBus, and Metro Call-A-Ride, a paratransit van system. Metro has a fleet of 409 MetroBus vehicles, 87 light rail vehicles, 123 Metro Call-A-Ride paratransit vans, and employs more than 2,200 people.

In the past year, the Metro System recorded over 55 million passenger boardings. More people are choosing to use Metro, and customers are more satisfied than ever. Metro customers recognize the value and benefit that comes from using Metro transit service.
